Over the past decade the penetration of Football has become ubiquitous at every level of educational, social and economic strata of Indian Society. An offshoot of this feverish adoption of love for Football has been the proliferation of teams, clubs, coaches, academies and league.
It has thus become imperative for the Governing body of Football in India to train and skill high-functioning football managers to facilitate this growth optimally and to scale the value proposition of the sport at all levels.
The overarching theme of the Program is to ensure that every student who successfully completes every assignment and passes the final assessment should be able to work as a highly skilled Football Manager in a variety of environments (team, club, league, organisation or with individuals) and with a variety of target audiences (general population, grassroots athletes, elite athletes and community programs.)
It covers a multitude of management and marketing related modules - Brand Marketing, Media Management, Law and Risk Management, Football Club Operations, Licensing and Merchandising, Player Management, Project Management, Fan programs, Sponsorship Marketing and League Management as well as the entire gamut of governance and ‘spirit of the game’ modules including governance of football, structure of standing and judicial committees, terms of reference, player status regulations, competition regulations, integrity and ethics, anti-doping regulations and anti-racism regulations.
